TRAVEL-GAL.NET is a travel blog where I share my experiences and tips from my travels around the world. Originally, it was conceived to keep track of the # of countries II had visited which at the time of this writing was over #90. The website has morphed from a typical travel blog to web content creation for serious travelers whose goals is to visit 100 countries.
It was childhood friends who encouraged me to create a website to chronicle my lifelong quest to explore at least 100 countries. When asked how many countries have I visited in Europe, for example, I had no accurate answer. It was all on in my mind and after 4 decades of traveling intermittently, it was finally time to put it on paper.
I have always had a passion for travel and exploring new places. I started TRAVEL-GAL.NET as a way to share my experiences and connect with other like-minded travelers.

I update TRAVEL-GAL.net periodically, at least once a month. Sometimes I may post more frequently if I have a lot to share, or less frequently if I am traveling or busy with other projects.
At this time, I am not accepting guest posts or contributions to TRAVEL GAL.net. However, I appreciate feedback and suggestions for future blog posts or topics to cover.

Absolutely! I believe that everyone should be able to experience the joy of travel, regardless of their budget. I often write about budget-friendly destinations and tips for saving money while traveling on TRAVEL GAL.
I recommend a variety of accommodations depending on your travel style and budget. For budget travelers, hostels and homestays can be a great option. If you're looking for a more luxurious experience, I recommend boutique hotels or vacation rentals.
Yes, I have plenty of tips for solo travelers! Some of my top tips include researching your destination ahead of time, staying in centrally-located accommodations, and joining group tours or activities to meet other travelers.

I usually look for destinations that offer unique experiences, whether it's trying new cuisine, learning about a different culture, or exploring natural wonders.

That's a tough question! I have so many favorite destinations for different reasons. My #1 favorite country is India for the unplanned, catharsis, spiritual odyssey that I experienced. Egypt is #2 but sometimes it swaps with India for #1 spot depending if I am reminded by Egyptology and the ONLY existing seven wonders of the ancient world - the Giza Pyramids.
Check out my blog for my TOP 7 COUNTRIES LIST.
One of my favorite memories is hiking to the top of a mountain in New Zealand and watching the sunrise over the stunning landscape.

I always research the destination beforehand, avoid walking alone at night, and trust my gut instincts. I also keep important documents and valuables in a secure location.
